One of the questions that everyone asks is what happens after death. In our dharam we believe in a cycle of birth and rebirth otherwise known as reincarnation. But how exactly does the cycle work and how can we get out of it? Well, this all depends on your karma. Karma is based on the basic principle “what comes around goes around”, so if you do good deeds in your life then you will be rewarded with good things, but if you do bad deeds, then you will have to face the consequences.
Your karma in this life will determine how you will be reborn in the next. If you pray and do good deeds in this life, then you can get moksh or be reborn as a human and be given another chance. However if you don’t live a good life, then you will have to go back to the cycle of life and death. You would be reborn as an animal and would have to wait to be born as a human again in order to get another chance to get moksh. So, we shouldn’t waste this life and the opportunity that has been given to us. Instead, we should pray and do more good deeds than bad so that we can reach moksh, if not in this life then the next.
